MEMBERSHIP

By joining 100 Women Who Care Foothills, you're committing to support local charities and causes through collective giving and community engagement.

Membership Commitment

By joining, you are making a commitment to 100 Women Who Care Foothills to make a minimum annual donation of $400 ($100 at each of the four meetings) plus a $20 annual membership fee, to help cover administrative costs. (The membership fee can be paid in $5 quarterly installments or all at once.)

 

Donations will be given directly to local charities serving communitites in Foothills County, Alberta, as agreed by those who are part of the chapter.

You agree to fulfill your donation commitment even if you did not vote for the charity selected by majority vote.( E-transfer is the preferred method of payment.) You also agree that, if you are not able to attend a quarterly meeting, you will e-trasnfer your donation or provide your cheque to another member to deliver in your place or by mail.

100 Women Who Care - Foothills supports local charities in Foothills County,  in southern Alberta.,
providing essential funding to help them make an even greater impact in our community.

Territory acknowledgement:

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we acknowledge the traditional territories and oral practices of Treaty 7 Nations including the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations; the Îyârhe (Stoney) Nakoda First Nations, comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. We acknowledge the Northwest Métis and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Métis Nation Battle River Territory and all the people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of southern Alberta.

We honour the Elders and Knowledge Keepers who share their teachings and wisdom.

We express our respect and gratitude for their history, culture, and enduring presence on the land where we live, work and recreate.
