Governance Structure

The 100 Women Who Care Foothills giving circle is governed by a 100% volunteer-based Leadership Team consisting of at least three individuals in any of the following roles:

  • Chair

  • Vice Chair

  • Treasurer

  • Recording Secretary

  • Nominations Lead

  • Communications Lead

  • Membership Lead

  • Events Lead

Other committees/support as needed (do not attend leadership meetings)

Our Story:

Celebrating 10 years of giving back in 2025, 100 Women Who Care - Foothills

supports local charities in the municipalities in Foothills County, Alberta,

includes the municipalities of High River, Okotoks, Diamond Valley, Heritage Pointe, and all communities in-between.

 

We provide essential funding to help organizations make an even greater impact in our community.

Since our inaugural meeting, we have made 41 donations to 28 organizations, totalling $297,040.

Territory acknowledgement:

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we acknowledge the traditional territories and oral practices of Treaty 7 Nations including the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations; the Îyârhe (Stoney) Nakoda First Nations, comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. We express our respect and gratitude for their history, culture, and enduring presence on the land where we live, work and recreate.
