High River HandiBus has been helping seniors and individuals with mobility challenges stay connected to their community for more than 45 years.

Every ride they provide helps someone access medical appointments, shopping, employment, social activities, and essential services they may otherwise be unable to reach.

The donation from 100 Women Who Care Foothills would help them continue expanding accessible transportation in our region by supporting the purchase of a new wheelchair-accessible van. Demand for their service continues to grow, and adding another accessible vehicle will allow them to reduce wait times, increase ride availability, and serve more residents who rely on them to maintain their independence. This new vehicle would strengthen their fleet, improve reliability, and ensure they can continue providing safe, dependable transportation throughout High River and the surrounding Foothills.

Every trip represents more than transportation—it means access to healthcare, connection to family and community, and the freedom to live with dignity. Your support creates a lasting impact by helping ensure that no one is left behind simply because they cannot access transportation.
