2027 Leadership Team Elections – October 8, 2026

All Members in Good Standing are welcome—and encouraged—to consider volunteering for our Leadership Team. Each of us brings unique strengths, perspectives, and ideas to the table. As our giving collective continues to grow, the saying "many hands make light work" has never been more relevant.

The following members have agreed to stand for re-election:

  • Terri Perrin — Chair

  • Candisse McCormick — Vice Chair

  • Carol Lyall — Treasurer

  • Chelsea Vogel — Online Communications.

We are currently seeking at least two more individuals to join the Leadership Team — a Nominations Lead and a Membership Lead. Elections will be held at our Oct. 8th Charity Selection Event.

Want to know more? Email womenwhocarefoothills@gmail.com or call Terri at 403-422-1099.

Leading Lady Leaving

the Board

On behalf of all 100 Women Foothills members, we extend sincere thanks to Shanon Maksymich for her contributions over the past year.

"As I step away from my role as Membership Lead with 100 Women Who Care Foothills, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the Leading Ladies and this incredible community of women," explains Shanon.

"As someone who cares deeply about supporting charitable organizations, I will remain a proud member of this inspiring group. It's been a privilege to contribute alongside community-minded women who consistently come together to create meaningful impact.

"With my new role as Senior Development Officer at Calgary Humane Society, along with growing family commitments and professional priorities, I've recognized that I can no longer dedicate the time and attention that this volunteer position deserves. While this decision was not made lightly, I know it is the right one.

"I look forward to remaining part of this remarkable community and cheering on all that 100 Women Who Care Foothills will accomplish in the years ahead."

Shanon Maksymich, CFRE
